About
Much of my career has been using my creative energies in marketing, design, and development for the newspaper publishing industry. It wasn’t until the realization that I would be retiring, that I seriously thought about my next career, my next step in life.
I was an art major in college, but never used clay as a medium. Turning to my love of design, graphics and color, I picked up handfuls of clay and went for it.
Now with a home studio, I can focus on my craft. I gravitate toward clean, geometric lines, and pops of color and yet, I love the surprises a moving glaze will bring. The symmetry is softened. The statement is relaxed. The lines are blurred.
