About

Much of my career has been about channeling my creative energy into marketing and subscription development within the newspaper industry. But art has always been part of me—I was an art major in college, though I never worked with clay back then. Eventually, I turned to my love of design, graphics, and color, picked up handfuls of clay, and just went for it.

Now, working as a ceramic artist, I get to explore surface decoration in ways that feel both playful and deeply intentional. I use hand-cut paper and underglazes to build layers of color and form, and I bring in glazes, wax, and impressions from antique lace to add texture and depth.

I’m drawn to clean, geometric lines and vibrant pops of color—but I also embrace the unpredictability of moving glaze. It softens the symmetry, blurs the lines, and transforms bold statements into something more fluid and relaxed.

I hope you enjoy my work and thank you for supporting my craft.
